You’re getting married and are looking for a Tucson Engagement Photographer. There are many reasons to get portraits taken prior to your wedding. Most couples use them for their wedding announcements. It’s also nice to have some casual photos with your fiancé. Hiring a Tucson Engagement Photographer will make you more comfortable around cameras at your wedding. It’s also a way you can express yourselves. I have seen couples dress in sports gear and take their portraits at a football stadium. I have seen others dress for a beach session. It’s a great way to have fun and get amazing images while doing it. I include engagement photos with all my wedding packages. This is a more affordable option by packaging them together. If you have ever taken High School Senior portraits or graduation photos, this will be a little similar, just with your fiancé.
Places to take your Engagement photos in Tucson
After you hire a Tucson Engagement Photographer, you might be wondering where to take them. This all depends on your personality and lifestyle. Some people just want pretty portraits. After I get to know you a little bit, I can suggest places I am familiar with that you might like. Some popular locations in Southern Arizona include the University of Arizona campus, Reid Park, La Paloma, downtown and Mount Lemmon.
My sessions tend to last about an hour so you have plenty of time to get a wide variety of images. I schedule them around sunset when possible so you get the best lighting and usually better weather. You’ll want to schedule your portraits at least 4-5 months before your wedding if you plan to use the photos for announcements. If not, 2-3 months prior is pretty typical.
What do I receive with my package?
When you book with me, you get all the edited digital images from our session together. They are delivered within just 1-2 days. You get full printing rights as well, so you can make your own prints if you like. Lots of other photographers will require you to purchase prints through them and only give you low-resolution images to use for social media with their branding all over it. Some even make you wait weeks to even look at your photos. Not the case with me. I offer high quality printing at an affordable price and recommend you get any large or specialty prints (such as metal or canvas) printed by me to ensure the highest quality, but that is totally up to you.
