Wanda and Robert held their Superstition Manor Wedding in Mesa, Arizona. I drove up from Tucson earlier in the day to get there early and to check out the venue. The wedding venue separates into two areas so they hold two weddings at once. I was thrilled to see that Wanda and Robert got the bigger and more scenic side. There were a couple drawbacks with the other wedding going on at the same time. We couldn’t photograph on their side of the property that was being used. I had to be creative with my images to make sure the people from the other party weren’t in the background. I also had to coordinate with the other photographers to make sure they got their shots as well. They also had one of the largest wedding parties I have ever photographed at 18. They are all family members from children to grandchildren who are part of the wedding party. One other thing Wanda surprised me with was her black wedding dress. Robert and Wanda have been together for over 20 years and this was the moment they finally made it official at their Superstition Manor Wedding in Mesa.
