Matt and Lisa will be having their wedding in November this year and decided to have take their engagement photos before their big day. We decided to take them at the beautiful La Paloma Resort Catalina Basin with the great scenery. I met Lisa prior, but this was my first time meeting Matt. After the first couple of poses, they got more and more comfortable with getting their pictures taken. This is pretty typical of all my sessions. By talking with them throughout the session and making simple suggestions on posing, it helps make them feel more relaxed and not overthink how they are looking. It’s always a great idea to get photos taken prior to your wedding so you can get them taken to use for invitations and save the date cards.
