If you’re looking for a Tucson Portrait Photographer, you came to the right place.  We have been in business full-time since 2007 and photographed over 1,000 different types of sessions. This includes family, High School Senior portrait, graduation, maternity, headshot, newborn, engagement and school photos. Maybe you have a group of kids that are growing up too fast or maybe you’re planning a reunion.  There is never a bad time to get photos of your loved ones.  We can take the photos at a scenic outdoor location or even at the comfort of your home.   If you are unsure of a location, just tell me what you are looking for and I can always make suggestions based on previous places I have shot at. 

 

When should I schedule my headshot, Senior or family session?

I recommend scheduling an appointment at least a week or two in advance. Some parts of the year we get pretty busy. The holiday season can get extra busy, so please plan accordingly for your Tucson Portrait Photography session, especially if your availability is limited. We capture a wide variety of poses in multiple locations.  The setting can be anywhere from a nearby park or resort to the comfort of your own home.  Some popular locations in Tucson include the University of Arizona, Reid Park, Downtown, Mt. Lemmon, Westin La Paloma Resort and Loews Ventana Canyon.  As a Tucson Portrait Photographer, I don’t charge any fees for traveling within the Tucson city limits.  I also specialize in engagement, headshot, couples, children, graduation, sports and High School Senior portraits as well.  

 

Not everyone takes photos during the hot Tucson Summers, but if you get up early it’s not too bad.  When evenings aren’t available, early morning sessions make a great alternative.  Families with lots of children tend to look better and be more relaxed when they are photographed in the morning hours. Kids are generally clean and well rested.

 

High School Senior sessions are normally scheduled in the summer and fall months. This is because the school sometimes requires photos for their yearbook by a certain date.  I can take them anytime during the year otherwise. Engagement sessions are best to schedule at least months before your wedding so you can use them for save the date cards.  

 

What do I receive after my Senior portrait session?

There is no limit on the number of photos that I take or the number of outfit changes.  Sessions are charged by the time and number of people if it’s a larger group.  I’ll take several pictures for each pose just in case you blink, make an awkward face, my flash doesn’t fire, or any other odd reason.  I’ll then edit all the images for color correction and exposure.  I deliver the best looking images of each pose within 1-2 days electronically for your print and digital selections.  This makes it easier to share with the people in your group or family members. 

All the photos are high resolution without my logo.  Each package includes the high resolution digital copies without watermarks which you can print yourself if you wish.  I can make large prints and specialty prints such as metal or canvas and give great deals on those.  As a Tucson Portrait Photographer, you can expect the highest quality prints if you decide to purchase them through me, but I don’t require it. 

What should I wear?

For clothing, I recommend avoiding wearing all the same colors (unless it’s something like UofA theme of something), make sure your clothes are wrinkle free and don’t include distracting text, images, or patterns.  Wear something you are comfortable in. For guys that means jeans, shorts, khakis and polos.  For girls, bright colors, skirts, dresses, jeans, shorts and a sweater are good for a casual look.  Shoes may show in some photos, so be sure it complements your clothing choices.  Props can be brought, but it is your responsibility to bring them. For headshots, wear a formal solid color top.
