Every year, Major League Baseball player Shelley Duncan holds a baseball clinic for kids and has me photograph it. They had food trucks, games, vendors and lots of fun activities. There are mascots from all the Arizona sports teams there and the vendor sales help offset the costs of the free event. Lots of other top baseball professionals are there as well, most who grew up in the Tucson area. I think it’s a great way Shelley gives back to the community. He played high school baseball locally before getting drafted and playing for the New York Yankees for several years. It’s events like this that make me enjoy being a photographer
